I Want To Pursue My Career (FFA)

Ever since I was little there have always been two careers that have sparked my interest and that I’ve wanted to pursue. The first career is biopharmaceutical, which I got from my Dad who has a preexisting condition called CIDP which is a rare neurological disorder in which there is inflammation of nerve roots and peripheral nerves. My dad was diagnosed with the disorder in 2009, with this diagnoses I had to step up my role in my family by being there and supporting my parents and siblings. I am ready to attend Wake Young Women’s Leadership Academy is because I am interested in curing rare and preexisting diseases like my dad through leadership. I am a member of The FFA because I have a deep love for science, and want to do everything in my power to protect the environment through science and technology. I am a member of Upstanders which is a club that creates a consciousness and develops an ongoing atmosphere of positive behavior where negative bullying behavior will not be tolerated. I decided to be an active Up-stander member because we take on leadership roles, understand the importance of activating the bystander, and celebrating diversity. I wanted to see how we can prevent bullying through technology. I am a member of the Science Olympiad because I have a deep profound love for science. I chose to be on the science Olympiad because I want to know how the world works and be in a club that will expand my knowledge. Another one of my extra-curricular activities is that I am a member of the NJHS an organization that picks bright young minds who have outstanding behavior. I wanted to be in the NJHS because it is a prestigious club that helps enriches the academical potential of its members. I am also a member of PBIS which stands for the Positive Behavioral Intervention and Supports. A school group that picks model students to enrich and implement the behavior in other
