As I search for new beginnings to mold my future I remind myself of the statue of liberty holding the torch of enlightenment. “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be fulfilled.” (Matthew 5:6). I seek the kingdom of heaven, therefore has led me to inspire those people that have been down my road. The road of not knowing what to do, or who to ask for help. I am the change in which the future will say “Remember that girl, Yaruby? Yaruby made her dreams happen this means so can we!”. I live today to show society that there is no limit to who can be successful. Giving up is effortless, but is it worth it? The difficult work will pay off giving yourself the life you desire. To the people who say Hispanics aren’t hardworking, smart, or able to graduate with a degree are wrong. Having pride in my culture isn’t something I am ashamed about. Being my own inspiration will hopefully inspire others to do the same. I will become a nurse and have a family of my own to teach and inspire to become who they wish.
