You keep the helicopter steady with ever slight movements of the flying instruments all around you. To me, there is no honorable job than going out and save the lives of innocent people. I can think of no better honor than saving the life of another human being. No matter what part you play in a rescue, from the pilot seat to the rescue diver in the ocean below, you are saving a life.
Personally, I hate bullies, weather its nature or another human being. Accordingly, I want to join the US Military so that I may defend the weak from the strong, the innocent bystanders from harm's

My advice to makayla is to never get stuck on one question no longer than five minutes. It's okay to skip a question and come back to it later once you have answer all of the other questions. It's also okay to guess intelligently on some of the questions. I feel that you shouldn't always linger on the same questions, because that can cause you to loose most of you time on the test. John When writing I think John should just write everything out first step-by-step.…

At the ends of each semester college kids are packing up to return for the holidays. They’ll pack their clothes, throw out old assignments they never turned in, and look through their food to see what needs to go. In ‘Dumpster Diving’ by Lars Eighner he talked about how college kids are throwing out food, giving it an unfair characterization. Only a few percent of college kids are the party-going, drug addicted, drinker types but there are determined college kids who stay away from all of that and focus on being in their dorm or home studying or relaxing because let’s face it college is stressful.…

The writing expected from college courses is one that most are unfamiliar with. Although students learn basic English skills throughout grade school and up to high school, most of the advanced steps are forgotten by the time the student is to enter college. Professors are expecting students of all kinds of study to have a high academic vocabulary and high writing skill. Often times a gap in remedial writing courses within the first semester or so.…

Dear Editor, During this constitutional convention, I’ve noticed things that were said on the federalist and the anti-federalist side. I have taken the side of the federalist and agreed completely on what they all have said. We have covered all subjects such as: Separation of powers/checks and balances, the elastic clause, Congressional powers of taxation and war, and A bill of rights. When discussing the separation of powers, we all agreed that having a checks and balances system would suit us best; therefore, there won’t be any one person in charge there would be three branches of government.…

Despite the new outburst of year-round schooling across the nation, I have the firm belief that we should retain the traditional system. Most schools who have switched to the year round calendar switched back to the traditional one because the anticipated instructional advantages haven’t materialized. In some cases, it even results in a drop of one to two percentile points in national rank for reading, math, and language scores, compared to a traditional calendar. It is not a good idea to keep making this change.…

There are six methods of persuasion and propaganda that we are shown in our day to day life, some of these are obvious and others have hidden meaning; things you would have to dig into before seeing the truth. Some of these techniques are, Exposure effect, Association effect, Personal attack, Appeals to pity, Popularity and testimonials and Card stacking. The First, Exposure effect is the idea that constant exposure to something will make it familiar in our everyday lives and that this familiarity will create a liking for the product. We see and hear this every day in the form of television commercials and radio ads; for example commercials for a Mcdonalds Happy Meal with the latest and greatest movie or comic book toy for a reasonable price,…
