I want to be able to help students be successful in their classes. I wish to provide valuable support to the professor and offer guidance to students. Helping students is a key reason that I want to become a UGTA, as I know the struggles and hard work that is required in order to be successful in engineering courses. Engineering coursework is not something that comes easily to me. Going through the hardships in engineering classes allows me to better relate, engage, and explain concepts to students who need help with course work. Additionally, I am considering pursuing a PhD and becoming a UGTA will provide key experience necessary to finalizing this decision; as being a TA is a major task presented to graduate
