When I was in kindergarten my teacher asked me what I wanted to be when I grow up, and the first thing I blurted out was to become a nurse. Growing up I’ve always had a passion of taking care of people, and even in my household I was surrounded to what felt like an E.R. room. My uncles, aunts, cousins, and my mom all hold a position in healthcare. But I don’t want to become a nurse to keep the legacy going; I want to join the field because watching them care for others and changing lives on a daily basis made in impact on who I want to be. I want to be able to touch people lives and improve their quality of life. My aspiration is to major in nursing at Nevada State College. I have many qualities to show my ambition to become a nurse although with my strengths I do have flaws. I hope to improve continually each year and better myself to become a strong person in the medical field.

For me I’m definitely not a flawless person I’m a person filled with flaws. There are things I wouldn’t ever change about myself but there are things that without a doubt I’d love to change. One of my weaknesses is procrastination, the crazy thing about me is I like getting my obligations done and over with, the problem is, finding the motivation to start doing it. Another weakness is my lack of interaction. I’m a pretty shy person in the classroom but if you were to know me personally I always have something to say. Last of all a weakness I have is my ability to not say no. I feel like whenever someone needs something from I rarely say no. In some ways it’s a positive quality but in others in can be seen as a push-over. I plan to overcome my weaknesses by starting fresh this year, including, finding more ways to express
