My second point about how Deborah Rodriguez was able to become successful and open her own beauty school had inspired me because; it has always been my dream to open my own salon, I hope to one day open my own salon and be successful just like how Deborah Rodriguez opened her own beauty school. I liked how in the book it was very detailed about her experience and with the details it helped to sometimes make you feel like you were there and experiencing it all with her. I choose this book because I had always loved doing my hair or other people’s hair, ever since I was little I always was painting my nails, wearing makeup, curling my hair and so much more, and once I got older I had realized that it might be something I wanted to do for a career, it wasn’t until I found out my sister’s boyfriends stepmom was a cosmetologist that I really started paying attention to everything that went into being in Cosmetology, I would always hear her talking about how the next day at work she had to do someone’s hair for a wedding or homecoming, or had to do a manicure on someone it wasn’t really until then that it really caught my interest big time, so that’s the main reason as to why I choose this book that way I could get to know more about cosmetology and how someone else got interested and where being in Cosmetology took them in their life. Everyone has a career that is meant for them and Cosmetology is mine. This book really helped me to finalize my decision that Cosmetology is what I for sure want to do.
