Truly, technology has very amazing qualities. From the intricate machines and computers used today to newer creations such as 3d printers and virtual reality, technology continues to evolve to help our everyday lives. I, Russel Rivera, hope to be accepted into Bergen County Academies so I can learn and enhance my knowledge about this important subject. At this school, I know I will further my understanding about technology and excel in the other subjects that BCA has to offer. The power of technology entices and excites me, leading to my strong interest. As a result of my passion for computers and the science behind them, I believe I will act as a great candidate to become a student of BCA.
I have always had an attraction to technology, an interest that is strong due to today's society. I have success in the four main subjects, math, language arts, science, and social studies. In fact, I have competed in a Math Bowl, spelling bees, and the You Be The Chemist Challenge. I also partake in an honors math (algebra) and science class at my school. I have much determination, passion, and enthusiasm towards exploring in the fields of my interests, math and science. I have positivity that this school will give me the opportunity to enhance my knowledge. I have also taken part in some extracurricular activities such as an orchestra, chorus, student council, newspaper club, MEK, and BCA After Hours.
