Some people are blessed by having some family and friends to hold their hands and guide throw the difficult times, that’s why I believe that everyone deserves the best quality in life this means being able to complete everyday task. Most people will take this for granted and not consider the affect an inability to complete them would have. This is why I want to pursue a career as an occupational therapist because I believe that patience is a vital skill when dealing with people. I have learnt how to adapt in differing environments and have a good understanding of how I can have a positive impact on someone's life. I want to make a big difference in the lives of people so I can help them gain independence and hopefully increase their confidence. My passion is to be part of a rewarding and diverse career; working closely with people and helping them to progress in life.

I am also part of a music band at my local parish church where I am a guitarist and a sound engineer on weekly basis. This requires me to attend rehearsals once a week. The team expects me to schedule my own individual practise sessions to better myself and attain the required expected standard. This has encouraged me to be independent by researching, learning and practising on my own and then play with my band members at the church service. This has further enhanced my team work skills, as well as showing my initiative as a proactive
