In the first grade, I was just a happy, oblivious kid. It was just a normal day and I was waiting for my mom to pick me up. I jumped in the car after school, and immediately knew something was wrong. This wasn’t my happy mom who would usually pick me up and ask me how my day was. This mom was quiet and had a very worried look. Instantly, this huge fear came over me: My dog is dead.
