I Want To Be A Registered Nurse Essay

I want to be a Registered Nurse with specialization in neonatal. I think there will forever be a need for nurses, they know there stuff they are needed for basic necessities needed in a hospital environment. I see many struggles for myself in the future finding just the right job for me, what I would love to do is also what many other people would like to do. I feel like in the future I will struggle with stress and some sadness as I want to be in neonatal and unfortunately not every baby from that area survives. It takes a strong person to do that job and I feel as though I could do that. I will be dependent upon the help of my family. Currently nurse with a BSN is more sought after than nurses with just an associate degree. As They have more opportunity to advance into management i wish to obtain my BSN. There is currently a nurse shortage as the older nurses are retiring and carrying on with there life. There is supposed to a nurse's surge on so people are warning to get the best education and do the best you can be to be able to keep and obtain a good job! To become a RN with a BSN you have to have a four year degree in nursing and science.I hope to obtain my education from Armstrong Atlantic State University. I feel as though I would be a good nurse because I care about people. I want to see people progress as they get better, I want to be able to see them realize how great they are doing. I feel like when people are injured(including babies) there is a dull light in there eyes, it sadness. when they feel or see how much better they are doing they get excited, their eyes light up and it becomes a great feeling inside you to know you helped do that and that it may not have even been possible without you! I am thankful to work here I do now and be able to see that
