I Want To Be A National Convention (FFA)

National convention is something that I have been looking forward to ever since my older sister left on the bus for her first trip to National convention in Louisville, Kentucky. I have been working towards this opportunity since my very first FFA meeting as a freshman in highschool. I was encouraged to join FFA by my mothers family. My grandparents, mother and, uncle all participated in FFA and loved to see the tradition carry on! This past year I was an active member and did not miss more than three FFA events. FFA came first last year and I quit sports to ensure that I would stay an active member and be available to participate in all the events! I attended state convention for three days and enjoyed it so much. I met many new people that would be so nice to see again at national convention. I think that I am qualified to go national convention because I do very well in school and it would not be a struggle for me to miss a few days. I spent most of my time last year doing and preparing for FFA events, this earning me many points. I also think it would be a good option to allow me to go because I am interested in much more that just the concert and shopping. I find the sessions very interesting and educational to listen to and would enjoy to hear and learn about all the other FFA chapters around the nation. I am looking forward to finding out if I will be chosen to attend National convention. If I am chosen I will be sure to stay hard working all throughout my FFA career and encourage other members to make the most of there time in FFA and tell them my stories to try and encourage them to be more active, meet new people, work hard, and listen and learn what FFA is trying to teach them. I hope and strive to do something with all the things that I will learn not only at National Convention but, throughout my entire time as a FFA
