My employer requires monthly employee reviews to be completed on all employees. These reviews are meant as a discussion forum so you and your boss can have an open discussion and develop employee goals each month for growth. Rule of thumb is, if it is not discussed and documented in your employee reviews, it should not show up an Annual Review. Nothing should come as a surprise on your annual review. At any rate, Annual reviews tell a story to the reader on your work performance over the past year. Anyone reading my review would think I was no longer being a team player. I struggle with the reader not knowing the reason I was given for the decreased score. I also struggle with the reader not knowing that this has never been something discussed or noted on the monthly employee reviews. I researched the best career path for me. I used the internet as the main tool to do this. I started with surveys like “Which Career Path is Right for You?”. These surveys directed me to the healthcare field. I then researched healthcare options in the area as well as pay scales. I decided now was the time to go to college to pursue my degree in nursing. I took the Accuplacer and did terrible in math. I was not confident with my math score so I took the “Jump Start your Math” three-week program this past summer.
