I walked into the People’s Bank at 9:50 am. The outside and lobby was clean and well organized. A Teller said good morning can I help you. I walked over to the Teller and asked to talk to someone about opening an account. She said that I could have a seat and she would get someone for me to talk to. I sat down and the Teller passed by me and asked the ladies in the office one of them could meet with me. The Teller came to me and said that Gwen would be with me shortly, would you like any flyers to look at or a drink. I responded no thank you; I am not sure what I am looking for. Then she asked me how she could help me. I stated that I have been checking Banks and the Credit Unions in the area to see if my husband and I are getting the best deals through banking. What can you tell me about your accounts? She reached back behind her to get the pamphlet off a full, neatly organized rack. She gave me a Personal Banking pamphlet. The double checked the update of the flyer. She stated that she just switched offices and she wanted to give me the most updated pamphlet. She opened the pamphlet and asked if I currently have an account with a minimum balance needed and if I had any difficulty with keeping the balance. I said I have an account with a minimum balance but I do not have difficulty keeping the balance. Gwen said Dorsey I have an account you might be interested in. She explained that the direct deposit checking. The account has no maintenance fee, free checks, free online banking with bill pay, free Visa Card and free mobile banking. She shared information about the Free-for-all Checking. She stated the differences of first time order of checks are free then you have to pay for checks.
