How To Read Book

I remember the first time I read a book. I was perched alongside my mom listening to her read book after book, hanging on to every word. I picked up the last book off the pile and began flipping through the pages. The letters suddenly began to form words. The words began to form sentences. The sentences created a picture. The pictures came together to create a new world. And it clicked. I was reading. They weren’t just jumbled up symbols anymore; they were thoughts, feelings, and actions. I’d like to think as I get older that I’m reading deeper, more complex books or so they seem. They are the books where I can almost relate with a character. My mom gave me a couple of books that I really fell in love with, for example, Eleanor and Park. It was about a lovely girl named Eleanor with a not so lovely family. She meets this boy named Park and as I’m sure you can guess they fall in love. The book was one of those where you wish if you could just talk to the characters you might be able to fix it but even that might make their story worse. It really made you think about how directly your actions affect a person. All the Bright Places by Jennifer Niven, is a little like Eleanor and Park in the way that it made you think. It was a true masterpiece on each page and it really impacted me and helped me work through the thoughts in my head. Finch, one of the main characters, really thought about everything so uniquely and pure in a way that it just made you feel okay with the world. Of all the wonderful things books do they can really influence your thoughts. Specifically books like All The Bright Places and Eleanor and Park can make you think more complex and get a grasp on your
