She was breathing harder and harder feeling the scratching in her throat, the feeling and taste of blood in her mouth. she didn't stop she kept running. All she could hear was the loud thuds of her feet on the dead and dry ground beneath her. The moon bleaching all that she could see to an ash white colour, all except the blood stains. hopelessness was flooding her thoughts as she heard the hungry bark of the dogs behind her. She fought with the fear inside her as it threatened to try an overwhelm her. Her body was becoming to weak to continue, it was like she was trying to run through honey.
