I Love To Write Analysis

Anyone can be a writer, there is no need for a degree or no need of experience in writing for someone to be able to write, all one has to do is write. Writing can take and change someone’s life, physically, mentally, spiritually, and emotionally. Writing has the ability to take it’s read to whole new worlds, it allows the reader to escape from the chaos of the real world and takes them to a whole other world where anything is possible. This is the main reason on why I love to write.
Writing does not just allow its readers to escape their lives but it also allows the writer themselves to escape and to write about another life and world. This is where I get a large part of my ideas for my writing. I love to put myself in different world and times and pretended I am living there and then I write it on paper. Sometimes I will watch a movie or TV series that sparks an idea or I will use many different movies to create one

The number one thing that I believe makes a good writer, is that the writing is applying to the reader not the writing. For example, I do not write for myself, I write for other people, the please them with my writing and to entertain them. Also, good writing tells the whole story, but in doing this they do it simply and does not make thing to complicated. Sometimes writers will write something and a reader will come away with nothing but confusion and question on what they read. Now, a writer does not, and sometimes should not answer every question every reader has in their writing, a good writer will sometimes let the reader decide for themselves what happens. Even so, a good writer will write a complete story and will not stray a reader too far away from the point being made. Writers like J. K. Rowling, Stephen King, and James Patterson, are good writers because they completely finish their stories, even if it takes 6 or 7 books to do

Vladimir Nabokov in his essay, “Good Readers and Good Writers,” talks about six different criteria for what makes up a good writer. They are: deceiver, magician, inventor, teacher, storyteller, and enchanter, and Fredrick Douglas in his narrative on when he was a slave, does not meet all of these criteria. “Every great writer is a great deceiver, but so is that arch-cheat Nature,” (Nabokov 1028). As a deceiver himself in his writing, Douglas does not make a large impression, he does a little deceiving in a small way, but it comes off as an undersight carrying an implicit meaning than an intentional deceiving for the sake of his narrative. “I have had two masters,” this is deceiving as he has served five men for terms of time, Anthony; Hugh…

There are good writers and there are good writers who work hard to become better. Mrs. Fiske, my English teacher junior and senior year of high school always told me that I was one of the best writers in my class but I could always be better. Spelling has always been one of my strong suits and I always get bothered when people can’t spell simple words. I’m pretty good at writing essays but I do not enjoy writing them at all.…

Whether we know it or not in this modern society we are writers everyday of our lives. These interactions shape not only how we communicate but how we write as well. Personally, I have been shaped by the influence of both other writers I have known and those I have only read the creations of.
