I Love Pokemon

My older brother Travis was obsessed with Pokemon when he was 15. I was three, he made me watch it with him. When ever one of his favorite Pokemon came on the screen he turned down the TV and told me everything about it. I remembered the names of most of them.
This lasted for a week or two then he told me to stay away from him and he stopped liking Pokemon. sometimes when he wasn't home my mom would give me one of the cards for me to read. He eventually stopped liking Pokemon all together.
I stopped watching and reading the cards about the same time he did. It all got sold and Travis moved to Wyoming. We moved to Seymour and I got a phone. I found an app that you could watch all the episodes so I started watching the show when I got bored or had time.

We started having races to see who could get the best Pokemon. He won with a haunter then he stopped playing again. I still play the game with my friends. And watch the show with them and the movies when I have time.
My favorite conversation from the first episode is “I'm here to get my first Pokemon professor Oak!”. “In your pajamas are you sure you're ready”. “YES I AM READY TO BECOME A POKEMON TRAINER!”. “Well i'm afraid there are no Pokemon left Ash.” “There has to be one, what about this one?”. “That is a Pikachu Ash they are very picky about bei-” “I'LL TAKE

When I was little I loved being read this one book called Winnie The Pooh. Every night if I was not read a book I would sit in my bed and wait for someone to come in. When my little sister Lizzie was born I would sneak into her room and read her books and she would stare at me like I was showing her ice cream. When I would take a shower she would be sitting outside the shower and reading in her own little language. Writing was never my favorite thing when I was little.…

My first memory of reading was when I was little, about 4 or 5, and my mom would read to me when I was going to bed. By far my favorite book that she would read to me was “Where The Wild Things Are”. I loved the way the booked looked with the faded looking colors that made it look old and I loved the pictures of the wild things and how the kid was the king and everyone listened to him and I just loved it.…

The most vivid memory I have of reading is when I was in third grade, my teacher use to read books to us at the end of everyday. However, one day she took us to the library and told us to pick out a book to read on our own. The library was set up to where each grade level had their own books so kids were encouraged to pick books that weren't to difficult for them to read. I wanted to prove that i could read a higher level book because I have dyslexia and other kids thought it was funny when I would mess up reading out loud in class or when I wrote papers. Therefore, I went to the fifth grade book cases and picked the biggest book I could find which was the original The Lighting Thief , before it got popular and they changed details in the book.…

Whenever I got a new pack of cards almost daily because my grandparents knew I loved them the first thing I would do was read the back of the cards. I soon was able to recall almost every player’s name, statistics, birthday, and hometown. My parents were amazed at the fact that I was able to recall all this information and actually know what it meant. Even at my early age my dad would come to me for advice to use on his fantasy teams. First grade is also the time I was introduced to the library.…
