Okay, wow. There are so many reasons to love her, so here are just a few. She writes realistic fantasy. While her stories are fictional, she addresses real problems. For example in her A Court series, she shows the effect of abuse on both males and females. I love the way she creates her characters with realistic flaws and emotional issue to develop them. These insecurities and flaws make her readers fall in love with her characters. She proves in both series that the first person you fall in love with isn't always the best person for you. Most people these days think that whoever they are with is the one, and that isn’t always correct. Sarah includes relatable relationships for everyone with her incorporation of sexual orientation diversity. …show more content…
They are independently dependent on each other; they needed each other to overcome hardships, but they won’t die from withdrawal. They only depend on each other because they are so in love. I also love how in the romantic relationships that actually work out, the characters don’t force things onto the other, such as mating bonds. When I say that I love the relationships, I don't just mean the romantic ones. Sarah shows how females can be friends without tearing each other down. This is especially clear with Aelin and Lysandra’s relationship, which, by the way, I’m obsessed with. She shows how people are worth fighting for in both series. On top of all of this, Sarah creates strong female leads that inspire me. Society romanticizes being insecure. Well, Sarah shatters that and instead glorifies confidence. For example, the Celaena portion of Aelin is an amazingly strong, powerful, and independent women who doesn’t need a man to show her that. Additionally, her writing is beautiful. Usually, I zone out when authors describe things in depth because it bores me. Sarah is different. Her writing engages me and keeps me hanging on to every single

    * This book was sent to me in exchange for an honest review I'm sad to say that this is my first 3 star rating for a CoHo book. Constancy In Cupid

Cupid is emblematic of the constancy of the sonneteer’s love as induced by the female object. As the sonnets progress, he becomes the object of her attention and her criticism, before she finally moves away from both Venus (Wroth, Crown Sonnet 9) wherein she rejects him for her “sunne”, and Cupid (Sonnet 103) (who seems to become a sort of surrogate for her love interest, as well as the representative of her own desire) to a higher form of love that transcends both passion and longing .
