I Love Boone

I love the mountains and the city for so many different reasons. Every summer I visit my family in London, Ontario, I always look forward to all the exhilarating activities I am able to do. “There are parks with swimming pools, splash pads, baseball diamonds, soccer fields, bike paths and sheltered picnic areas.” (1 Tourism London Canada) That is everything that anyone could possibly want in a park. Boone has a more quiet and laid back atmosphere. People here love the beautiful mountain views and wouldn't change it for the world. These two places are complete opposites, however, they both have a special place in my heart. If you are looking for the place to watch stunning sunrises and sunsets, hike treacherous mountains, drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway, and do plenty of other outdoor activities, Boone, North Carolina is for you. One of the greatest landmarks in Boone is Grandfather Mountains “Swinging Bridge”. “The 228 foot suspension bridge spans an 80-foot chasm at more than one mile in elevation.” (1 High Country Press) These locations add to our divine mountain range and complete our scenic town.
On the other hand, you would not go to London to visit the city. The city doesn't have any locations that would drag you over to the Southwestern part of Canada. The more I

Each place has something that makes it successful and draws more and more people back to the town. Both London and Boone has a college and a university, which makes it a good point of interest. “Appalachian enrolls about 18,000 students, has a low student-to-faculty ratio and offers more than 150 undergraduate and graduate majors.” (1 About App State) If I could live in one of the two cities, I would choose London, due to the fact that it's a city and I am more of a downtown girl.
