Basketball is my life. I love the feeling when I get my hands on the ball and shoot and make it. It makes me feel good inside. Even though we lose some games our team still tries as hard as they can. Basketball is not just a sport, I believe in basketball.

I have many experiences with basketball. I starting in 6th grade. The first time I have ever played was in gym and I never got to get my hands on the ball because I was the smallest one. I was really bad so nobody passed me the ball. The people who were in my gym class played basketball for a long time. I am still trying my hardest and persevering through the hard times. I also played a summer league when I was 11. Basketball is not just a sport to me it is more then that. I get to make new friends and I think that it is really fun. Some people think that basketball is a stupid sport and they think that it is just a boy sport, but it is not. Everyone can play basketball. Even the people who are in wheelchairs play basketball. I like the sport because some people like to sit on the couch and be a couch potato, but I think basketball is a fun sport to go out and play when I am bored. I love basketball because it is a family sport, I can play 1 on 1 with my dad or we could play a 3 on 2, it does not matter about the teams what matters is me and my family get to get outside and get your blood moving. I was interested in basketball when I met a girl and she played basketball and she was talking about it and it made me want to play it.
