I Heart Huckabees is the 2004 philosophical drama/comedy that follows several characters who experience internal conflict and attempt to find answers with the help of Existential Detectives, Bernard and Vivian Jaffe. The film illustrates the quest for self actualization using dichotomizing schools of thought, as well as the processes of reductionism and holism. Using the concept of Universal Interconnectivity, the detectives take on the cases of Albert Markovski, a young environmental activist; Brad Stand, a charming and duplicitous executive; and Dawn Campbell, a spokesmodel in the midst of an identity crisis.
