Audio Engineering
What I already know about this Topic?
Ever since I was little, I have enjoyed making melodies. I used to take my mom’s pans from the kitchen and a pair of spoons to create annoying beats, but to me they were very enjoyable and impressive! My passion for music really came to life when I was about 14-15 years old. I realized that I had a different type of connection with music. Listening to music reflected on my moods and I always preferred upbeat music because it kept it in a pleasant mood. Of course, being a teenager, I also fell in love with the lifestyle of the musicians. I started watching YouTube videos on their day to day activities. I am however not so sure on which school to attend to get my credentials. I want to learn more about the lifestyle of audio engineers. I also want to know about the salary and where audio engineering stands in today 's society. Will I be able to financially support myself and my family?. I have a lot of questions that come to my mind and I am not sure on which path to take.
Even though I know the basics of audio engineering and I always tend to amaze people with my work, I am still not quite educated in the field. Everything I have learned so far is based on my own hands on experiments or the YouTube tutorials. In order to take this passion to the next level, I also have to find out the costs of education and weather the field of audio engineering itself is worthy enough for the long term student debt.
I want to possibly conduct an interview with an Audio engineer and find out exactly if this field would be a good fit for me. I am currently working two part-time jobs and they are both paying me minimum wage so I definitely want to be able to get my credentials as soon as possible and then work in the field I am really passionate about. During the past few months, I have constantly been thinking about my future and how badly I just want to move forward in life. I personally want to be in this field but my research will specify my
