The Importance Of Eating Patterns Affecting My Diet

I have had experience tracking my diet. I have done so for the past several years albeit not always sequentially, sometimes skipping months between food entries. At times I have had great success, losing some weight, other times it was to simply see what I have been eating, so while not a new experience it is always interesting to see how my eating patterns have evolved through the years. Food preparation is predominantly undertaken by various family members; however, that is not always the case as the hectic pace of life sometimes dictates that I make use of various fast food establishments, though that is rare. Usually, my food would be made by my mother, father, grandmothers, sisters, or myself. Who is doing the cooking is really dependant on where I am eating and what meal is it. For example, Saturday and Sunday my suppers are made by my grandmothers, as we have family dinners those two days. During the rest of the week my Mother makes supper, we eat supper as a family. Breakfast and lunch are more independent meals if you want to eat go ahead, so in this case I am usually preparing my breakfast and lunch.

Furthermore, it was alarming to have concrete numbers in relation to the rise of obesity not just in North America but elsewhere in the world too. My biggest concern about what I read would be the rise of obesity amongst children and the corresponding lack of regulation by the government to attempt limit corporate attempts to entice children into consuming their products.1 Also, there is the fact that in food conscious places, such as Europe, that obesity is affecting them to ever greater extents.2 Unfortunately, these problems seem to be worsening without significant government
