I stated early in this essay that they make moving and getting to different locations easier. This does not mean that they are perfect. These systems have the same problems as Davis. The difference that I have noticed is that these are bigger cities so they can put more money into their transit system. San Francisco is a great example of a city with transit problems. I grew up in San Francisco and I know how the buses work. They would be late when getting to stops and it was very annoying to get to any place. The first being is that a person go travel farther. This would allow people to get things that they would normally not have access to without some sort of transportation. Secondly buses are a great alternative to taking a car. For example, all the people that take bus could drive but do not. This in turn helps lower the amount of gas emissions emitted into the atmosphere. This happens when the buses are on time and they do not skip stops.
