I have developed in that I do have a feeling side. Being an introvert makes me a good listener so many people at work confide in me and either ventilate their frustrations on me or seek advice about personal issues that have been effecting them at the workplace. When I was younger I would keep a distance and be very callous. Perhaps because I had not gone through a lot of painful experiences so it felt like I could not relate much to these issues. Now I try to relate to the other person and feel what they feel by tapping into my own emotional experiences. I try to put myself in the other person’s shoes. This is very relevant because when I train someone or even have to discipline someone at work, I used to be very closed-minded and go by the book and go about things only one way. However, from life experience, when training someone I try to tap into their learning type or when I have to discipline someone, I definitely speak as though I were on the other side because at one time or another I was that person and I did not appreciate how a callous manager treated me. Interesting point

My introduction paragraph was not up to the senior level writing. My writing simply didn’t make a clear path that allowed me to carry my ideas throughout the whole paper. The flow of each sentence was choppy and that made it difficult for anyone reading this paper get into the essay; therefore, I need to start including transitional words, phrase, or sentence so the reader and I can easily read my essay faster and with ease. Another thing that I would change is the thesis that I made.…

Upon reading DiAngelo & Sensoy there were five main points of concern addressed within the article. These topics had concern on the basis that the students coming into this course may more or less be unprepared and unwilling to open their minds up to this new material. The first main point was about aiming for intellectual humility. The authors claimed that this meant the students are apprehensive about learning new material and challenging their current and developed beliefs. This main point makes a reference to an astronomy student conflicting with his teacher on the existence of Pluto.…

The following paper will examine two instrumental therapeutic approaches from a Jungian perspective. The first is the use of drawings in play therapy and the second is metaphors and how they can be applied and useful in a therapeutic context. Jungian Approach to Therapy Jung presented an analytical approach to counselling based on psychodynamic schools of thought rooted in the dependence of unconscious processes in psychological functioning, symbolic interpretations and indirect methods of psychological assessment. Jung believed in uncovering the complexities of the psyche through analogies, links to the spiritual world, culture, mythology and religion.…

Learning to write When I attended elementary school, part of the curriculum was penmanship. There was a certain segment of instruction dedicated to penmanship rather than writing. We were given large sheets of oat colored paper with three parallel lines widely spaced. The alphabets were used to print and write in cursive using the midpoint, and upper lines for capital letters. The handwriting grades were based on neatness and readability.…

After learning more about the two types in the lecture, I believe that I am more of a Thinker than a Feeler. However, I use both in relating to others and in learning. As a thinker, I find social graces hard to remember, follow, and respond to. I prefer to be “business-like” in my interactions with others. On the other hand, I enjoy personal connections with others, and I enjoy having deep connections with others.…

The Jung Typology assessment is based on the on the Keirsey Temperament Sorter and the Myers Briggs Personality Inventory. There are four personality type measurements: Extraversion vs. Introversion, Sensing vs. Intuition, Thinking vs. Feeling, and Judging vs. Perceiving. After taking the assessment my personality type was determined to be ESFJ; Extravert (25%), Sensing (44%), Feeling (22%) and Judging (9%). According to the Jung’s theory as an extravert I get energy externally and like human interactions. The next measure was sensing, which has to do with how I receive and perceive information.…

How would I describe this class? I would probably say without hesitation that this class is grueling, exhausting, and stressful (just kidding). Although, I would have to admit that somewhere in the back of my mind, I realize how valuable a class like this is. Nowadays, everywhere I look, people are glued to their phones or other devices; when I was in middle school before everyone had a smartphone, people actually read books in their free time. It is quite sad how many students of this generation will not pick up a book unless it is assigned to them.…

Through the past semester, I believe my writing has strengthened in skill and individual direction. In a similar manner, as a college freshman learns independence during their first year on campus by living away from home with less guidance, so has my writing skills. Whereas, in high school, our teachers provided us with a uniformed writing prompt with a clear argument or thesis. This semester has provided me with the skill in writing towards a specific audience with a clear position. Through this process, I was rewarded with the opportunity in learning to incorporate my voice in my writing, instead of simply to questions that were posed on a sheet of paper.…

I am both Type A and Type B. I can see myself being both, although I am slightly toward Type A than B in my daily activities, but I see both personality very clearly in my life. This score means that I can balance my priorities / responsibilities and well manage my stress. I am definitely a perfectionist, keep a constant loock at my watch (the only hand jewelry I wear), walk fast, eat fast, ignore fatigue while doing strenuous work and very competitive. Consequently, I am serious, but easy going, enjoy leisure (reading or watching comedy, but only when I’m done with all my work), prefer a quiet & tranquil lifestyle and have a tremendous drive. I’m somewhat impress that I can relate to both side of the personality…

Individuals and their personalities play a very key role in organizational behavior. In order for an organization to function at the highest level of productivity, managers must focus on empowering individuals in order to strengthen the group rather than enforcing autocratic leadership to force the individuals to serve the needs of the group. Managers themselves also need to know their own strengths and weaknesses based on their personality types as well as common strengths and weakness for personality types present in their employees. For instance, a people with an Introversion-iNuition-Feeling-Perception (INFP) personality type might be best motivated for the purpose of serving the well-being of others; however, these same INFP personality…

According to Carl Jung, the archetype anima and animus states that human are essentially bisexual. He also believes that these archetypes must be expressed in every human, and if it is not expressed, the person will experience one side of personality. This belief stirred my thinking. If Jung was right, would all humans have the tendency to be attracted to both man and woman? Would it mean that same sex marriages would be more common?…
