Freedom The idea of freedom can be seen in collection 2 of our textbook. Freedom is shown in the Speech I Have a Dream by Martin Luther King Jr. Freedom can also be shown in stories like The Censors by Luisa Valenzuela.One last piece of freedom that is shown is in the memoir is in Lolita in Tehran by Azar Nafisi. The idea of Freedom can be seen in Dr.King's speech I Have a Dream when he talk to the whole world about his vision when African American . Evidence is shown when he talks about what kind of freedom black people have and compare it with a white man’s freedom.Why this is important is because Dr.King inspired people to have their own freedom whether there black or white or what race they are. Mr.King is key part of the rising of blacks and white equality. …show more content…
Evidence is shown when Juan sends a letter to his friend Mariana in Paris and tries to get a job as a censor to get his letter so he won’t die.Why this is important is because the government won’t let anybody have freedom and if you try to show your personal freedom then they will execute you.
One last idea of freedom that is shown is the Memoir Lolita in Tehran by Azar Nafisi. Evidence is shown when women don’t have their own freedom in Tehran and women can’t do what some men could do.Why this is important is because women have to follow strict rules in their country or very harsh punishments may occur towards them only for having short clothes, not wearing the same clothes, putting makeup on, even wearing
