The painting is a breathing taking view of a stunning mountain reflected by light over layering the crystal ocean. The sky is beautiful arranged with clouds pink. Rocks from the ocean border the mountain. In the far background sits a large town. In the town, there are many little homes and there is a larger building with a dome on top. Rotating the town is trees flooded from the cliff to the homes of the far back town. Before your eyes lead to that, there is a closer and where more light is attracted to village. I can tell it’s where the artist wants us to look at because that is the lightest point of the painting and where everything takes you. What I mean by saying where it takes you to is where our eyes get drawn to and lines lead.
The pink clouds set the tone and temperature. The sun is preparing to set down. It’s difficult to tell because the tine of the sky and sea are slightly off key. The ocean looks cool and energetic while is sky is calm and warm. I guess the sea it also starting to shift it way to calming down along with the sky.
There are mostly organic forms in the piece. This gives off extinct, brilliant detail. The small village in the far background represents life. It tells us that this mountain cliff is visited almost daily and adored by its neighbors and
