Review: The Jung Typology Test

Improved Essays
After completing the Jung Typology Test, I found out that my personality type is ENFP which stands for extravert, intuitive, feeling, and perceiving. I am actually very happy with my personality results because they were very accurate with how I think I am as a person. My results show that I am an extravert and I agree because I definitely feel energized when I am with people because I can connect with others and share my interests and feelings with them. I am happiest when I can spend time with my friends and family and just talk about everything that comes to mind. My results also show that I am an intuitive person which means that I perceive information by using what my gut tells me. I agree with this because I do not always agree with facts …show more content…
My results show that I would be more efficient in jobs that involve social service, art, and management. I was a bit surprised with some of my results but I do think that I would fit in with a job that dealt with social services or art. I would love to have a job where I would get paid to help people or to be creative. I do not think that I would be successful in a job that dealt with management because I am not a very organized person and I do not know if I could be a good leader and manage other people if I can barely manage myself. I am currently considering becoming an art teacher or an interior designer. I would want to be an art teacher because art is my passion and I would love to help children connect with their creative side because I think that an imagination is one of the most important thing that people can have. Creative people are the people that will come up with ideas that will help our future become better. I am interested in becoming an interior designer because I would love to help people be happy with their homes and to make them actually feel at home when they get …show more content…
I am between believing that opposites can attract and believing that I should be with a guy whose personality is similar to mine. I think that love is maybe too complicated to categorize it. I would probably want to be with a guy who has similar interests and feelings to mine but based on experiences with my past relationships I don’t know if that is the case. I have dated guys who had personalities who were similar to mine and I like having things in common with them because we can make many of the same decisions but I have also had problems with them because they sort of annoy me because of how they act so similar to me. I have also dated guys who were very different from me and I liked being presented to new things that I might like but I had problems with that too because it is hard to connect with a person if they have a completely different mindset. I think that the biggest challenge would be dating someone who was more sensing or thinking. Jung make these traits sound like a person would be less open-minded because they seem to take things more literally. I would prefer someone who is more open to change and new ideas and will allow themselves to think with there heart when they need

This typology fits me fairly well considering my tendencies that I am aware of. Extraversion is a confusing distinction for me because most people that I meet provide feedback signifying that I express introversion. However, on my typology test I scored 21 in extraversion and 6 in introversion. My best guess is that I prefer extraversion, but habitually exhibit the traits of introversion as an attempt to appear more professional. I also feel in the grey area for sensing and intuition even though I scored 17 in sensing and an 8 in intuition.…

The results of the Jung Typology Test identifies my personality type as being ISTJ. These letters stand for Introverted, Sensing, Thinking, and Judging. The percentage I received for each of the letters ISTJ were (I) 12%, (S) 6%, (T) 1%, and (J) 16%. After reading the explanations of these traits, I tend to see my personality described by some and not by others. You could not really say it “hit the nail on the head”.…

The typology test that is based on Neo-Freudian Carl Jung theories have four different types of categories in which personality is classified. Those types are the following: extraversion vs. introversion, sensing vs. intuition, thinking vs. feeling, and the fourth criterion is judging vs. perceiving. All criterions have their own meaning now I’m going to tell you more about each one in debt. The first one is extraversion which is a person who gets their energy from active involvement in events and activities. These people like to energize with other people, they are very sociable and outgoing people.…

I am thoroughly enjoying this class and the assessment testing included in the modules. For the most part, the results were not surprising but affirming. Particularly of use and helpful were the descriptions provided for each category. The Jungian Typology assessment showed my decisions are based on emotions rather than facts. As I read the description for my personality type ESFJ (Extravert, Sensing, Feeling, and Judging), I noticed that I had a slight preference of judging over feeling.…

According to Carl Jung’s typology theory, there are four pairs of preference alternatives toward which each of us are predisposed. These preferences are Extraversion or Introversion, Sensing or Intuitive, Thinking or Feeling and Judging or Perceiving. Knowing our own preferences first, and then observing others’ preferences, each of us can change the work place environment for the better. In fact, As Christians it is not an option for us as we strive to build relationships based upon God’s example - relationship built on covenant. Emerging from this application are attitude, process and structure of healthy organizations where the people care about others, power is shared by all and leaders and followers are accountable to each other.…

Personalities When people think about different personalities, they mostly think of someone being athletic, loud, shy/quiet, or brainiac. There is multiple test a person can take to find out what their personalities are such as the SAPA project, the Kisa, or the Myers-Briggs test. These tests will show a person how a test can define their personalities. The personalities that are tested include extrovert, sensing, thinking, perceiving, introverted, intuitive, feeling, and judgment. While taking one of these tests, I received a score of ENFJ.…

My personality type according to the Jung personality quiz is INTP. I mostly agree with the description of INTPs except for the part that states INTPs prefer word games and strategy games. I find such structured games to be boring, and I’m not good at them, I prefer games that have a story-telling element. I also like card games that require speed and pattern recognition, like peanuts and Egyptian war. I am very logic oriented, which is common for INTPs.…

Similar to every human who inhabits Earth, personality types are each unique embodiments of who we are as people, that help create the persona that we depict towards the public eye and in our personal lives as well. With there being sixteen personality types on the Myer-Briggs Type Indicator, there is one that is bound to be similar or almost identical to one’s true personality, and mine happens to be INFJ, which stands for introvert, intuitive, feeling and judging. This personality type has remained consistent with me ever since I took my first MBTI Assessment in junior year of high school which makes me believe that personality type is accurate to my actual personality. The INFJ personality type suits me due to the four traits it incompasses.…
