Andre Johnson, a former teammate of J.J Watt, described J.J’s abilities by saying, “Man, I don’t think there’s a word that can really describe J.J. He affects the game in so many ways, whether it’s knocking down passes or sacking the quarterback or just even causing confusion on the play.” J.J Watt is one of the most feared defensive players in the entire National Football League. He is on track to be one of the best defensive ends ever to play the game of football. In just four seasons, J.J totaled fifty-seven sacks. J.J Watt is an unbelievable football player. J.J Watt was born on March 22nd, 1989, in Waukesha, Wisconsin. His parents are Connie and John Watt. He has two brothers, TJ and Derek. Watt went to high school at Pewaukee High School, where he was a four year letterman in football, but also lettered in basketball, baseball, and track and field. Watt was named to all-state, and all-conference, playing two positions, tight-end and defensive end.
J.J Watt was mainly recruited by three schools, Colorado, Minnesota, and Central Michigan. He was neither ranked with the top defensive ends or tight ends in the nation. He was, however, ranked the 7th overall football prospect in the state of Wisconsin. Watt would eventually commit to play football at the University of Central Michigan. Watt ended up playing tight end at Central Michigan, however he soon realized that tight end was not his position. J.J wanted to play defensive end back home in Wisconsin, so he left…
