Complementing my leadership skills and desire for community contribution, I believe the evolution of my life has meant the Ivey MSc in International Business is the next logical step for my future.

My journey toward this point in my education began during my undergraduate studies, where I was involved in several significant extracurricular activities. It was during these undertakings I discovered my greatest passion was not in the activities themselves but, rather, in their management aspect.

Interning at Today I Can Do Anything (TICDA), a motivational apparel line based in Los Angeles, allowed me to enhance and practice my business skills in the real world. As the head of the Community Development Team, I had the privilege of working alongside

It was during this experience I realized the power and impact of international business. This was made clear to me when we had diverse groups from all over the world successfully collaborating together on the project. Despite conflicts, wars and cultural differences, people can and will work together to help a greater cause. The culmination of each of my experiences has made me seek to not simply become more educated, but more wide-ranging, to not only develop future business relations but to also improve society in the process.

I am an ideal candidate for this program because I bring a unique combination of experiences, skills and education to Ivey. I will share my experiences from traveling to 35 countries to assist my peers in the nuances of cross-cultural communication and practices. I will provide a rare perspective of marketing and strategy learned through my internship at TICDA to classroom discussions. I will bring exemplary leadership, responsibility and social skills to the greater Ivey community, all advanced through my positions as an Athletic Director and Head

This report requested by Michele Bartosek pertains to the Alpha Kappa Psi Career Fair, hosted at Central Michigan University (CMU). While attending my first CMU career fair, I was not actively seeking an internship, but rather gaining experience and building my network. When I walked into Finch Fieldhouse, I did not expect there to be 143 tables worth of future employers, all squeezed into one gym. Although the Alpha Kappa Psi career fair was extremely overwhelming and stressful, it was beneficial to go as a freshman to understand what I can improve on at the next career fair. I understand the importance of many potential employers attending this event at this venue to maximize the opportunity for the students, however having so many people…
