Crockett does a great job of assigning tasks. She does not try and do everything herself. This helps others to cultivate their leadership skills and show her confidence in others. Plus,this allows her time to focus on other things she needs to do, help others feel like they can contribute, and establish a culture of collaboration. Another practice Mrs. Crockett utilizes is she emphasizes “bucket filling”. She not only models the practice, she motivates faculty and staff to practice “bucket filling” amongst one another and in their classrooms. She adds to others bucket by an action or kind word and in turn expects faculty, staff, and students to do the same
