The dream that I aspire to is that the people of the world will let kindness into their hearts rather than hatred. I feel that deep down, people don’t want to hate and despise each other, or make each other miserable. The Earth is rich and full of space, space for its marvelous people, but we have a lack of understanding of others. The human race has made so many advancements. Devices that connect us and vehicles that can take us anywhere. Devices like these bring us closer in many ways, but so often they are used to draw us apart. Every person has the right to be treated with respect and dignity. …show more content…
So many times in history it has been proven that the power to be kind, to create, to change the world is not in one man but in all people. People have the power to make the world kind and wonderful. My hope is that people will pursue a new world, a decent world where everyone can live how they chose and not have to step over others to achieve that life. Many people in history have promised to make a world like this but they lie. Those people free themselves, but trap others. What I want to achieve, what I want all people to achieve is the promise of a world

Not only this, but Brave New World is more relevant to the modern world as it encapsulates the gathered feeling of apathy and aversion of feelings among the people in the real world, as apposed to 1984 which slightly refers to this attitude. The people in Brave New World live in a world free of negative emotions due to the elimination of families, religion, and books. Back in the Condition Center the Director explains the burden such institutions brought upon the people of the past, reasoning, “What with mothers and lovers, what with prohibitions they were not conditioned to obey, what with the temptations and lonely remorses.. they were forced feel strongly. And feeling strongly (and strongly, what was more, in solitude, in hopeless individual…

Through the parallelism that the writer Shauna Singh Baldwin portrays to us in conjunction with the confrontational limits being placed ahead of her as she matured. Barriers by that time had been set by her and those who had a part to play in their role of the upbringing of Shauna. Shauna states in the second paragraph, the tedious repetition of human existence through parallelism, speaking on necessary and commonplace tasks we go through our daily lives. As budding human beings, we contribute to our hinderance of our success by taking on artificial barriers, often for no purpose or by blindly following cultural norms. We bear to say words like "Oh, I can't do that because I am just not good enough for it".…

Create Change Esther Dyson once said, “Change Means That What Was Before Wasn’t Perfect People Want Things To Be Better”. Even if one person creates changes in his or her society at a global, national, or community level in a positive way, will make this world a better place. Each individual can create changes in his or her society, unless he/she feels that it is important to society, that an action must be needed and the action that they going to propose in order for changes to happen. The changes that I want it to happen are; to have free schooling for students from kindergarten to twelve grade all over the world, along with women’s right to an education, offer free health care and helping homeless…

Throughout hundreds of years, authors have been using settings to show figurative significances and enhance hidden meanings. Symbolism is the use of symbols to signify ideas and qualities by giving them symbolic meanings that are different from their literal sense. In The Great Gatsby, F. Scott Fitzgerald uses details related to settings as a mean of indirect characterization to reveal the qualities of his characters. Thus, it provides the reader a better understanding of main ideas. His book takes place in the 1920’s in Long Island, NY and tells the story of Jay Gatsby, an extremely wealthy man but yet mysterious who owns a huge mansion next door to Nick Carraway, the narrator of the novel.…

“My heroes are those who risk their lives every day to protect our world and make it a better place”. The definition of the word military is “the armed forces of a country”, but the word military means so much more to me. Military to me means a group of individuals who don’t think twice about themselves, but are always thinking about other people. Military men and women look in front of them to save what is behind them, which is our country of America. Risking their lives every second of everyday trying to keep our country safe and out of harm 's way is a task worth fighting for.…
