I haven’t really seen any bullying or upperclassmen asking for your lunch money. However, to be honest, I don’t and didn’t interact enough to find out. I am the type of person who tends to keep to myself.

As my application is examined, it will come to the attention that no activities or descriptions are included from my sophomore year of high school. That would be because I actually did not have a sophomore year. Advancing forward a full year in high school would have to be one of the most challenging, longest lasting, incredibly difficult circumstances that I have ever found myself in. Not only was this decision strenuous when it came to academic struggles, but I found myself facing family skirmishes, social problems, and issues with the Board at my school. Even though so many obstacles could have been avoided by choosing to take the easiest route available to me, I would not trade my experiences for anything because ultimately, they formed me into the person who I need to be in order to pursue my dreams and taught me more than I could have ever imagined learning.…

Descriptive Essay Nearly everyone had a high school experience, and many people have some kind of college experience. People who experienced both of these know how overwhelming the transition from high school to college can be at first. Dual enrollment is a great example of attending public high school and a community college at the same time and yet finding it to be a confusing contrast. Freshman year of high school is scary for anyone, the enormous transition from being a top dog at middle school, back to an underclassman; wondering if your high school teachers will be as unforgiving as your 8th grade teacher’s descriptions, or even just that uncertainty that comes along with any major change. As a homeschooler entering school system for the first time, and having completely skipped 8th grade, it was terrifying. I had no idea what to expect, I worried about being behind the other students, or having missed something in my homeschooling curriculum, even interacting with other kids was all unfamiliar. It definitely didn’t help that, at 13, I was the youngest person in the building. Just two days into the school year, I discovered that P-AP world…

Freshman year I began my journey here at Seton Hall as a student-athlete by being introduced to a new group of girls that I would spend almost every waking second with. My roommate was my fellow freshman teammate, Allison (I’ve changed her name), whom I’ve never met prior to school starting. Due to us spending so much time together, adjusting to living with another person became easy. Allison and I became friends, communicated well with each other, and rarely had any problems.…
