I’m Shelby Lyn Sandlin, daughter of Trish and Brady Sandlin I was born on May 9th, 2000 in Louisville Ky. I have brown hair and brown eyes. I have two sister and a brother. I live in small town, Scottsburg Indiana and have lived here all my life. I am the kind of person that can get along with just about anyone and never meets a stranger. I have a big heart and will put others first before myself. I haven 't always had a nice, caring heart all my life. All through elementary school I was the kid that would have to stand on the wall for throwing snow at others on the playground or knocking someone off the swing set. I have did many sports throughout my life but, the only one that really enjoyed is basketball. I have had a crazy life so far but …show more content…
That was one thing that my mom was not looking forward to was me moving grades to be in the 6th grad but, for that reason I could not wait. Weeks went by in the 6th grade and I was doing great I had good grades and loved all my teachers. When I got home from school one day I was told that my great, great grandma passed away. She was one of the nicest people you could meet and you would always love see her smiling face. One that I always looked forward to was taking her vanilla milkshakes on every Saturday, that was her favorite thing. For the longest time I was so upset and and she was all I could think about I finally realized that she was in a better place. By this time 6th grade was coming to an end and we were celebrating Cinco De Mayo, and having end of the year parties. Then I was in 7th grade, I could not wait until the school dances came and you could dress up and go hang out with all of your friends. My 7th grade year nothing really happened that was to exciting beside, me trying my hardest not to get my very first C on my report card because, I knew that if I got a C on my report card I was going to be in so much trouble when I got home, that is something that my parents did not like. My 8th grade year I turned 13, it was awesome, I was looking forward to throwing a big 13th birthday party and inviting all my friends to my grandpa’s pool where everyone loved to hangout. …show more content…
For me it was the other way I was excited to see what high school was all about. Just like on my first day of elementary school and middle school I had no idea where to go in the school, I was lucky to have a friend that had every class with me so that I could just follow her around. One thing that I was most excited for but very nervous was playing basketball, I had alway grew up watching high school basketball and I always wanted to do it when I got in high school. Throughout my Freshman year I played basketball and learned many things. Everything was different on the high school, I liked it so much more than I did any other grade. Then came my Sophomore year, everything got a little harder like the school work. Everything seems to go by so fast and now almost Sophomore year is half

And we all watched as my brother pulled out of the garage, and slowly went down the driveway, and eventually forgot that he had to hit the break on a uphill slope. Eventually he got to the road and got wrecked.…
