The “I’m One” Ad is sponsored by the R.]. Reynolds Tobacco Company, which presents the thought of Archie Anderson on smoking. Archie Anderson, a main character, is a Minnesotan born and bred adult whose determination is to express the view that the ban on smoking is a detrimental decision and solution can be attended amicably between smokers and non-smokers without government intervention. Being an American citizen, he respects the law, but this time he wants to speak against the government presenting the ad, which targets the non-smokers as his audience. Most Ad’s are designed to persuade either with ethos, logos or pathos, but Archie Anderson, a hard working man, who can see the future consequences, presents his idea which covers all ethos, pathos and logos together to sustenance his argument.. He tries to prove his credibility via images. The picture depicts a middle class adult with a smoke in his left hand, says he is a smoker at the first sight, presents the language of truth. He is behind the old truck, wearing shirt and jeans, tells about his struggle to continue his life, demonstrate that he is an honest man. The cap on his head with the word “Minnesota” shows its cultural values. The image clearly says he hasn’t done any crime that he should hide anything gives the huge appeal of self-confident to the audience. This type of images works to attract the audience. Images related to the text boost its credibility. It is any easy way to judge the audience character. Sometime thousand words can’t express the feelings of a single image. It provides the specific information about the individual, which portrays the sign of credibility.
