I think extending the period of students have to start paying off student loans can really help to ease the pressures of those new graduates. And in terms of education, the government should focus on even out the qualities of schools in different areas. In certain locations, schools are segregated by class, socioeconomic status, race etc. Students can really get varies qualities of education due to the format of the schooling system. Generally speaking students in urban areas tend to have more options in schools, newer equipment, technologies and more access to aids to their education comparing to students from rural areas. And even within the same city, different sub areas such as neighborhoods can have different impacts on a student’s life in terms of educations and daily living. I think being able to provide equal amount and quality of education resources offers each and every student who are eager to learn to have a chance to strive and achieve an ideal higher education opportunity. …show more content…
The question worded “what does our American society have…,” I am not American, therefore I don’t think I should be answering this question. In the duration of this course, we talked about diversity, awareness of others in terms of cultures, race etc. but this question sounds like it’s only for US students to answer. In my understanding, this question is targeted to American students only since it has the words “our American society” in it, therefore I refuse to answer this question because I feel that if I answer it, I am counting myself as “American” which I am not, and that’s in a way of giving up my own ethnicity and identity which I refuse to do so. I identify myself as a Chinese women and I am very proud of it. I take offense to the wording of this last question because I thought this assignment should apply to every student taking the course of AGR 201 but I feel discriminated because I am excluded from this
