I Am: My First Generation College Student

I am a first generation college student. My most recent triumph is my Associate of Arts degree for general studies from Harrisburg Area Community College. I graduated in May 2016 and was very proud of myself for accomplishing this achievement. My grandfather is the only member of my family who has completed his bachelor’s degree, let alone, an associate’s degree. I am interested in continuing my education at Millersville to obtain a Bachelor of Science degree with a major focus in animal behavior and minor in business studies. I also would like to further my education so that I may have a well paying career and future for myself.
