I became interested with an Information Security Analyst because my father is one. Every take your child to work day I would wake up early with my dad and run to his car excited to go to his office for the day. The building is a plain, brown brick building, but every time I saw it, I instantly got excited. Walking into the office everyone knew my name, I would always wave at everyone I saw. The secretary always gave me a lollipop and called me her “Little bundle of sunlight”. I would then go into my dad 's office and sit on the couch in the corner of my room, watching him answer phone calls, and typing away on his computer to put up firewalls. Me and my dad would always go to the cafe downstairs and he would bring his laptop so I could play …show more content…

I open the cold metal door and enter the loud, busy building seeing people running around. I smile at the interns running with coffee and the one that just fell down the stairs, poor girl. I walk up to my office and set my bag down logging onto my computer and getting straight to work. I’ve been working on putting this firewall up for two months now and today is the day I am going to finish it for Target. I start to type up the source code and see I only have one more line of language to go before I’m done. I type fast getting excited and when I type the last “o” the computer blinks and it shows a big green check mark. I jump out of my seat and scream “I’M DONE!”. Being an Information Security Analyst is a very fast paced job, with hackers becoming smarter and smarter each day and new software coming out almost every day, I have to be one step ahead of the hackers to stop them from breaching the system. Also you have to be aware of hackers and how to notice an attack coming, hackers have ways to hide what they are doing, but you have to be smart and cunning, think like a hacker if you are going to stop a hacker. My question has been answered, but some parts of it have not. I asked what is everything is needed to know to be successful and some parts of the question have been answered, My thoughts about this career have not changed at
