I asked my friend about this question recently and he told me that raising the minimum wage would be a huge disadvantage to people who’re buying houses. The federal government would get an increased in their federal income, and the prices for houses would get increased. New homeowners who’re looking for a new homes would have a huge disadvantage as the system would pretty much downplay on their money. Basically, like the story I was telling you guys in the last paragraph, it would cause a huge unfairness to people who have worked so hard on gaining their money, just to have its value be devalued. The current minimum wage in Oregon is $9.75 (Department of Labor) and I believe it should stay that way for awhile instead of raising or decreasing it
