Adaptation And Analysis: See You Again

For my Adaptation and Analysis I am doing “See You Again” by Wiz Khalifa Featuring Charlie Puth. I believe this song has a very deep and meaningful background to it. In the song, it talks about basically that yes, you have lost a loved one, but you will see them again, meaning you will once again be reunited together. This can be reunited whether it be spiritually or physically, it is declaring that one day you will both see each other again. In saying this, it keeps hope in to the fact of how life goes on but we as humans never let go of some things. Lost loves ones are one thing that we will never let go of and always keep dear to us and close in our hearts, making this song even more heartfelt.

It gives the song a personal feel but it’s a type of personal feel that more and more people can relate to since the underlying background in the song is so heavily set on the movie Fast 7 which did feature Paul Walker. The song is a tribute to Paul Walker if you will. The song helps promote thinking about like family, not necessarily family that you were born with and are related to with blood but it can even be family in the car community and car culture which is where it is mainly based. Throughout the song there is no other way to explain it other than the main focus of the song and the meaning behind it is that family isn’t just family via being related by blood, family is anyone who is willing to give up anything for someone else to make sure they enjoy their lives just as much as they would with a family related via blood. In conclusion it is just saying throughout the car culture that most people are your family throughout the scene and that is what is wanted to be supported throughout it.
