“Hey Kim!” yelled Hakeem, “Did you finish that science project?” Hakeem and Kim are two students at Treeders High School and are both in the 11th grade. Unlike Hakeem, Kim was a straight A student. I should’ve listened to you; I was being a huge jerk. I was so tied up with Hakeem that-,” “Save it, I understand, you don’t have to explain,” Tammy said hugging Kim. “I bet Hakeem Williams wont be bothering the ladies anymore,” said Kim. The two girls hugged and made a promise that they would always be there for on

A new journey in my life began on August 13th, 2014 as my school principal cut the red ribbon celebrating the opening of a brand new high school. Little did I know, it would become a journey of growth and unique experiences unlike any before it, further refining and adding to my inner sculpture of identity and talent.
