Essay On Personal Narrative: My Experience At The Creek

Improved Essays
I am an outside person I have been since I could remember, when I would go outside you would usually find me in the pool or over in the Lot and in the Creek. The creek was and still is really fun, walking up and down finding cool stuff and making stick weapons and pretending to fight in the army. The Creek was fun, but it was also scary at night when you could hear stuff moving, but you couldn 't see it, but despite the scariness of the Creek I ended up having some of the best times there when I was a kid. The best well, maybe not the best, but the most memorable time was the time where me, my dad, and my brother (which I didn 't want to come) went to the creek and we were going to walk to the “all the way”. The “all the way” was the point …show more content…
After about ten minutes my brother says to my dad dreadfully “ when are we going back”, I whip my head around looking at him like he was nuts “well he was nuts” I thought to myself I was having a grand old time looking at the wildlife and climbing on the trees. Me and my brother(if he is even my brother) were very different growing up, that might explain all of the arguments, he was the person that loved playing sports and doing his own thing, but as soon as it was something he didn 't want to do and took energy to do it he would stop at nothing to try and get out of it. So when he said that to my dad, I knew it wasn 't long before we would go back, my dad smiling, probably because he knew that my brother was going say that, said “we don 't have much longer till the end, you can go can go a little longer can 't you” my brother regretfully said ”I guess”. I mentally had a parade when he made my brother go …show more content…
My dad said “well I guess we won 't make it to the end today after all, I pleaded “we can make, we just have to walk across the tree”, my dad look a second and said “that is too dangerous”, then I pleaded once again “can I at least try”, he looks again and said “all right but I 'm going first so I can see if it 's safe”. He scouted crossed slowly, when he got to the other said he jumped down and look over at us and with a cautious voice said “It 's not that hard just slowly scout on your butt” I walk over to climb up and my brother rushes ahead and gets to go first, my brother flies across going as fast as he can when he got towards the end he slipped off. He fell to the ground hard and landed half in the water half out, he quickly jumps out of the freezing water and ran over to my dad. I started to laugh and I was laughing so hard that I even did a knee slap, my brother said to my dad “ow I scratched my leg is it bleeding”. My dad look and said “nah it 's just a scratch”, but clearly it was bleeding even I saw the blood and I was all the way crossed on the other side of the tree. I then scooted across slowly and carefully after watching my brother fall, I Made it across and jumped
