Don’t get me wrong, I surprised myself as well. I had never really taken art seriously until then; but when I realized that I had a talent and an eager audience of my teachers and peers, I ran with it. I recall doing my first ever portrait drawing in this class. Not only was it a portrait, but it was a self-portrait. But, not only was it a self-portrait, but it was a relatively large scale self-portrait. I remember spending the entire class period locked in on that drawing; my mouth would get dry and my voice would be faulty because I’d just work so intently. This …show more content…

I was afraid to pick Doodle up. My hand wrapped around his body and my other hand wrapped around his head, holding him up. The blood started to drip out of his mouth and onto my shirt and stained it. He was so heavy, I didn't want to drop him because he was so fragile. I stopped every couple of minute to fix him because he would start to slide down and my arms were so weak and tired.…

To keep myself busy, I always bring a sketchbook to school so I make up some new drawings. I like to sketch things like video game ideas, I play video games often and I have an active imagination so I fused the two of them together. My works of art aren’t that well sketched and I never show them off to the public, but it matters most to the artist what he himself thinks of his works. Putting my sociality and art aside, I am considered one of the brightest minds in my school and my family.…

It started out as a hobby, but soon, I immersed myself into the world of art by integrating art with medicine. I have always found medical dramas to be particularly intriguing. Developing into this interest, I started writing my own medical journal, where I took notes from a book called Gray’s Anatomy and from the medical dramas I watched.…
