I am a very stubborn person and it is hard for me to let go of situations that I strongly believe in. When I hear about an idea, I immediately pick it a part, which causes people to become annoyed. My reasoning for picking a part a thought is that by determining the flaws of it at that given moment will stop further damage and leaving you feeling less disappointed in the end. There have been situations where the people closest to me have hurt me the most. For example, freshman year, the girls who I considered my best friends stabbed me in the back and changed my whole perspective on relationships. Rather than being vulnerable, I have learned not to depend highly on others for my own happiness. Next time a situation similar to this occurs, I will be far less hurt or surprised because I have first-hand experiences in seeing what harm people are capable of.
