My Autobiography Essay

Autobiography Education has always been the drive behind every one of my actions. The events that have occurred in my life in terms of learning and educational experiences are those that not only happened at school but also in my home. My parents were and still are major encouragers of my education, and taught me many things as a young child. In fact, they are still teaching me today at almost 20 years old. I went school at Lake Hamilton School District in Pearcy, Arkansas for all thirteen years of my public school education. Throughout those years, I had many excellent teachers and educators that helped me find and enhance my passion for teaching. Music is a language, and when you have educators that have efficiently given you the tools to interpret such a magnificent concept, the outcome is immeasurable. I have chosen to be a teacher because of the teachers that came before me. I owe all of my time and dedication to those who have given theirs to educate me. I had excellent teachers and mentors throughout public school, and today I have absolutely incredible professors here at Arkansas Tech University. I am in debt to these educators, and I feel the only way to repay them is to teach and pass on the knowledge that they have given to me. In music, there’s an intense lineage of composers, musicians and teachers that deserve to be continually recognized through education. I feel, like I’m sure many other past, present, and future educators do, that it is my duty to educate the public on the things that really matter. Music is not only my passion, but it is such a strong enforcement in other areas of education, that I have no doubts about my desire to teach it. I want to teach for the act of teaching itself. Bettering the lives of others is not always a task that everyone has the opportunity to accomplish, and I am excited for the future chances I will have to do
