Reflection On Being A Dynamic Learner

Explaining this class to someone who hasn’t taken it, would be somewhat difficult due to my bouncing around with words and not staying on track. However, I would do my best to explain it. First, by telling them to take the test that determines what his or her learning patterns were. Then after we had figured out what type of learner they are, go from there. I would go by telling them what all four learning patterns were to the best of my own knowledge, and try to explain to them what they mean for them. I would break it down into segments and explain them individually. When I learned my learning patterns and what type of learner I was, it all really started to make sense with everything in my life. I started piecing everything together as far as the way I do things, and it all just really amazed me how the way you learn effects everything in your life. I am a Dynamic Learner. I use my learning patterns close to all the same, but precision is my highest. My scores are: Sequence, 24. Precision, 27. Technical, 22. Confluence, 24. Over all, they’re used the same, but as I said before, Precision is my Use First. I use my Sequence in the order of which I do …show more content…
So if one pattern is bringing me down, or making me stuck on one task, another one will come over and to take its place. Thankfully, I haven’t had too much issue with completing assignments and quizzes, and the like. I have become impatient with the reading in the first couple of weeks, but I buckled myself down. I used my confluence to get myself back into the groove by refocusing myself and putting myself in a different mindset. My technical reasoning was used to re-break down what I was doing. My sequence was used to get myself organized. My precision was used to make sure I read and re-read everything to be certain I got all the information I needed to get my assignments done how they should

Question #1: What would be your response to the order? Explain in detail. My first response towards the operation order is to question the necessity of forcefully removing local evacuee from their homes and destroying their property if they refuse to evacuate. Then explain to the commander that this type of action is prohibited and in clear violation of the Law of War. My second response will be to advice that the operation order be revised before the execution of the order because the destruction of civilian property unnecessary and cannot be justified under military necessity.…

    1. Why is it important for educators to know about systematic learner variability? It is important for educators to know about systematic learner variability because the concept of the "Illusory Average Student" does not exist; "cognitive neurosceince has shown that there is no average student" (DL Series No. 1, 2012). Therefore, it is important for educators to know that student ability varies widely both within and between subjects and concepts for students, and even more importantly, that this variability is normal (DL Series No. 1, 2012). Finally, once you learn about learner variability you can begin to think systematically about learner variability, and from there you can begin to predict for this variability in your lesson plans…

Out of all 5 of my talents, Learner describes me the best. As cliché as it may sound, I really have a passion for learning. But my passion for learning extends far past just the usual sitting in class taking notes, or the usual memorization of subjects, instead it really reaches out to deeper depths where I really seek to master everything that is put into my head. I am not okay with only touching base on subjects or barely treading the surface of topics, rather I have to really dive into the text and pay close attention to all the details in order for me to grasp what is going on.…

Last week, I implemented an academic strategy from one of my five StrengthsQuest themes. I found that most of my themes provided academic strategies to keep me motivated in school. Undoubtedly, these strategies are helpful in advancing for the future, but I felt that these strategies would not drastically impact my studies in the course of a week. Nonetheless, I found a study technique in my Restorative Theme packet that seemed like it could make a monumental difference in the way I read class texts. This strategy is a study technique to use when reading class text; it tells one to mark different sections in the text that the reader may want to return to later.…

Learning is not something you can obtain from just reading books or even searching on the internet, learning is so much more than that it is a tool, a song, or even a movement, it is taking in the world around you and college is simply preparing us to be able to learn by teaching us how to learn. When I started EXP 105 I had no idea what to say about learning and what it meant all I could really say about learning was "it is a weapon that we use to take this world day by day". I now see that this class was not just a step closer to a degree because I now know a lot more about learning and how it actually starts with myself. EXP 105 has obviously changed my point of view of learning I mean I could I try to understand this world and not know hardly anything about myself.…

Lifelong learning is extremely important, especially in the medical field. Lifelong learning is a process of seeking, retaining, and applying information learned, that will continue throughout our lives here on earth. As nurses, learning must continue so that we are able to maintain the knowledge we have but also be able to grow and learn new things because the environment that we work in, is forever changing and we must be able to change with it. We could only imagine how healthcare would be later on in the future if nurses and doctors only relied on the knowledge they obtained during nursing and medical school. Learning does not stop once school is over with, but it is continuous and required way beyond graduation.…
