Wages for health care are high. CNAs make anywhere from twelve to thirteen dollars an hour in North Carolina. If I work forty hours every two weeks, that’s 470 dollars for two weeks without taxes deducted. For a month, that is 940 dollars without taxes deducted. Health care is not sensitive to business cycles. People are always going to be in need of doctors, nurses, and hospitals. There are always jobs for nurses.
