The most life-changing moment in my life was to move from different culture to western. I am Muslim 21 years old. I came to the USA in 2011. I am studying associate in arts and will continue my bachelor 's in business after I get married next year. I had so many majors earlier when I got admitted to COD, my first major was pharmacy, then I changed it to accounting in which I got a scholarship but in my last year I finally decided to study business. I define myself as a kind and responsible person because I don’t like who are not kind to each other and also who don’t take any responsibility when they should.

I like to be social and helpful to everyone. I also have a good record of community service. I have developed strong leadership skills and have learned to interact with a wide variety of people while working several different jobs. I joined few clubs when I came to COD, did some volunteer work too. I really don’t like people that don’t respect anyone and also who think that they are the only one who can rule the world. I took part in living leadership program I completed my phase 1 in which I got a certificate and also we gain some leadership skills. Another goal is to get a good GPA this semester to get in an honor class so I can get a banner whenever I graduate. When I move to the USA I saw in my high school graduation that some people were getting rewarded (like getting medals, banners, and certificates) for so many things like social activities, clubs, volunteer work and being a good student. These things attracted me so much. I really want to achieve these things whenever I graduate and I will do my best to achieve it. My whole experience moving from different country changed me a lot. I’ve gained some confidence and now I am proud that I can do a speech, work and be an independent person.
