The strong R&D capability enables the company to build a broad range of vehicle portfolio and improves its competitive strength in the automotive industry. * Toyota has factory in Vietnam and makes a large range of vehicles for both private customers and commercial organizations, from the small, middle and large size vehicles. In 2010, Toyota had to recall millions of vehicles for fixing the trouble of accelerator components make the vehicle out of control that cost Toyota a lot of money. HMV could introduce all type of Hyundai's vehicles to satisfy customers demand, by import them from main factory in Korea. If compared HMV to other major automakers, HMV is smaller in size in terms of total employers and production. This fact alone enables HMV to be more flexible in terms of cost and decisions that relates to expansions and cutbacks. Hyundai definitely holds advantage over other massive automakers in terms of flexibility because they don't need to have a big amount of capital to build their own factory in Vietnam. However, after next few years, when HMV received adequate the trust from customers place on Hyundai brand as well as HMV got a numbers of loyal customers.
