Once again putting employees who have had bad encounters with dogs at risk. I haven't personally had a dog in the workplace but I'm uneasy around larger dogs, especially ones who are heavy enough to knock people down, so I'd most likely leave a workplace who allowed dogs. Although having dogs could possibly increase productivity, they'd be too much of a distraction if they started to bark, nip and jump on people while working. Not to mention a chance of destroying company property and documents if they're a younger dog that tends to chew up objects. Pet owners having senior animals could be considered but I don't believe it's the company's job to make sure you have the time to care for your pets and if that hinders your productivity, I'd consider options such as pet
